Julien Dégoulange serves as the Innovation Director at Novacium, leveraging his two decades of experience in the fields of materials science and renewable energy since joining the team in July 2022.

Prior to his current role, he honed his expertise at Apollon Solar – Groupe ELIXENS, first as an R&D Engineer and later as a Senior R&D Engineer, where he managed activities related to silicon and energy storage and generation in the Lyon region.

With an academic foundation that includes a Ph.D. in Materials Sciences from SIMAP, Grenoble, and a postdoctoral stint at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology focusing on silicon casting, Julien is a seasoned expert in silicon refining, photovoltaic technologies, and the development of innovative processes.
